Hello Timber Creek Families,

We hope everyone is having an amazing start to the school year. We are happy to be

back at school and have enjoyed welcoming all the new families. The PTO is now in full swing and planning Timber Creek’s fall fundraiser. Our fall fundraiser consists of the GIVE Campaign and Monster Mash.

The GIVE Campaign is an online straight donation that is 100% tax deductible.  We would kindly appreciate all Timber Creek families and extended families to participate by donating to our school.  Did you know if every family donated approximately $20, we would achieve our goal in raising $20,000 for the GIVE Campaign?

Another part of our fall fundraiser is our beloved Monster Mash event.  This event will be held on Friday, October 28.  The Monster Mash consists of a Haunted Library, a Glow Party, Trunk-or-Treating, Halloween themed carnival games, a costume contest, a KID’s raffle and an ADULT raffle. We will be sending out flyers with much more information starting next Wednesday, October 12 in your students Wednesday folder.

The overall goal of this fundraiser is to raise money that allows the PTO to continue supporting our school and the needs of students and teachers. The PTO has always played a major role in funding online subscriptions, teacher supplemental materials, student incentives, grade level instructional supplements, field trips, additional playground equipment and other educational programs. To continue with these programs and help with funding, we need your participation. We do understand that every family's financial situation is unique and at certain times strenuous. However, each donation or purchase, no matter the size, will ultimately make a difference to our children and their education.

Timber Creek Elementary is an extraordinary school, and we feel privileged to work with so many parents and volunteers behind the scenes to make these fundraisers possible. We all want the best for our children, and because of our Timber Creek families we have always exceeded the expectations and goals that we set.

We know this year we will continue to come together and grow because “We Are Timber Creek,” and that is what we do. If you have any questions, please reach out to us at any time or checkout our webpage (www.timbercreekpto.org) for more information.

Thank you,

Samantha Herington and Jenn Kable
